The Commission for Bible and Catechetics (CBC) is the diocesan body responsible for promoting Bible studies, catechism, and faith formation among children, youth, and families. It coordinates Sunday School activities, teacher training, examinations, and spiritual formation programs across the diocese. The CBC Central Team is the diocesan catechism leadership body functioning under the guidance of the Diocese of Mandya. The team works in close coordination with the CBC Director, parish catechism units, teachers, animators, and coordinators to strengthen faith formation among children and youth across the diocese.
The catechetical mission of the diocese is carried forward under the spiritual leadership and blessings of Mar Sebastian Adayanthrath, Bishop of the Diocese of Mandya, and the guidance of Rev. Fr. Manjooran Paul, CBC Director of Mandya Diocese.
The Central Team is responsible for planning and organizing diocesan catechism activities, teacher training programs, examinations, competitions, spiritual gatherings, and faith formation initiatives. It also provides continuous support and guidance to parish catechism teams to ensure effective and meaningful catechetical ministry throughout the diocese.
